Tree Planting at Cuckoo Nest Farm Addingham

Sat, Dec 13th 2014 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

For the 4th year in succession Blaize members and friends planted 500 trees. This year the planting was at Cuckoo Nest Farm in Addingham. We were guided again by Ian Butterfield a representative from the Forest of Bradford.

This year's planting consisted of Oak, Silver Birch and other broad leafed trees. As the area had a population of wild deer the trees had to be protected by much stouter stakes and tree sheaths to stop them being eaten.
