Fellowship

Rotary is not just about doing good deeds but also about enjoying yourself and this committee organises social activities. This page contains an archive of some of our activities.

The Games Evening at the Rawdon Conservative Club will be held on 23 June. We need the support of Rotarians and Guests – only £5 per head for a fun evening, and that also includes Pie and Peas. What a bargain!!

The Hello/Goodbye will be held on 29 June at the Fairmount Park Clubhouse. We hope for a good turnout to say thank you to Ken for guiding us through the last 12 months and to confirm our support for Richard over the next year.

East Riddlesden Hall will host the performance of “Twelfth Night” by The Lord Chamberlain’s Men on 13 August, which we will attend.

The District Conference will be held at Scarborough on the weekend of 3rd/4th October and I hope we can get a group to attend, either for the day, or better still, the weekend.

We will hold our normal Christmas/New Year party, more details later in the year.

The City is now half way through its year as the City of Culture and I keep checking the programme to see if there is anything appropriate which we could attend,

Bradford Live will open in August and there is already a programme of events. We have viewed the development over the years thanks to the visits arranged through Lee Craven and Chris Morrell and it would be great to see the venue in full operation. I will discuss the programme of events with the committee and see if there is anything we would like to attend.

If any members have suggestions for other events/visits, please let me know.
