NEW STARTING POINT THE HARE AND HOUNDS TOLLER LANE
Our annual Christmas Walk

On Monday 27th December 2021  at  1030am

NEW STARTING POINT THE HARE AND HOUNDS TOLLER LANE
I will lead a stroll of a walk from Emm Lane, Bradford...park cars up side of Lister Park by Norman Arch.
We will walk along Keighley Road and enter the Aireville estate to search for remnants of the Bradford Woolcombers allotments and ponds and hear about their history   (what has the hermit of Burley Woodhead got to do with this...don't google it)...before entering Heaton Woods to search for our late Rtn Eric Benthams' bench.
The walk strolls gently  uphill through the woods to Heaton where we can examine Heaton Cemetery and viewpoint before making our way to the Hare and Hounds pub on Toller Lane.
where we have a room to ourselves with food served all day...soup and roll £5.75
A walk downhill to Emm Lane and our cars finishes the day 4.5 miles of easy walking
