The Christmas Walk will take place on Friday the 30th Dec led by Chris Binns.The walk will start from Tina and Keiths at 10-30am and takes Approx 1.5hrs.
The route will follow the Great North Trail over the local viaduct to Harecroft down to Hallas Bridge and back upto the house for lunch. It is metalled most of the way so it should be a clean walk even if the weather is foul. There are two steepish sections one about 100yds and the other 50yds otherwise its flattish.
An alternative walk of about 30 mins is available for those who do not fancy the full walk.
Friends are welcome
Lunch will be available to non walkers from 12-15pm
The cost for lunch will be £7-50 for club funds.
I will be circulating the usual list at the coming meetings but you can let me know by email as well
