We have supported the Plymouth Soup Run for over ten years by going out and feeding the homeless and rough sleepers in Plymouth once every five weeks.
Our scheduled soup run dates for the year can be found in our Club Main Programme.
We provide the service, on a five week rotational basis, with other like minded organisations within the City. We are proud that we were able to continue the service, with appropriate protection, all through the various Covid lockdowns.
It is sad that demand for this service continues and indeed more people are now being fed than ever.
Club members provide a range of soup, sandwiches, hot food and drinks together with basic clothing and toiletries for the needy in Plymouth. This is distributed at four drop points in inner City locations. We are very grateful for the support of Ginsters, Callington for our Soup Run activities.
The Soup Run is a city wide service provided every night of the week.
We were delighted to have been joined on Thursday 14 March 2024 by the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Cllr Mark Shayer, the Lady Mayoress and the Lord Mayor's Chaplain.
Plymouth, as a city, is at the forefront of the provision of services to rough sleepers and the homeless.
