We help to develop young talent

We have an active programme of youth events.

We have always maintained focus on the next generation of Rotarians - youth.

Throughout our history we have been actively involved with Youth Speaks. . We hold a Club competition and have previously organised both Area and District finals.

We are also keenly involved in Young Writer and have received both National and District acclaim for our contribution to youth writing development. 

Last year we also had some entries ofr the Young Photographer competition.

We have also sponsored a number of worthwhile candidates on RYLA courses as an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills.

Young Artist

more We are pleased to support this Rotary Youth competition and had success in the 2024 District finals.

Safeguarding Children

more We are currently undertaking a project with a number of local primary schools to provide books and a board game to Year 6 pupils to help them with the challenges and dangers of staying safe at home, school and in the community.

Youth Speaks

more We actively encourage local schools to participate in this project to develop confidence in public speaking.

Rotary Children's Fun Day

more We participate, along with other Rotary Clubs in the Plymouth Area' in this project which offers children the opportunity of an interesting and rewarding “away day”

We seek, encourage and sponsor young people in this worthwhile scheme to develop leadership skills.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

more We seek, encourage and sponsor young people in this worthwhile scheme to develop leadership skills.

Young Writer
