Thanks to Theresa for organising the walkand to Andrew for being the guide – and very knowledgeable he is
too, ably assisted by Theresa with snippets by Richard.
A pleasant and fascinating walk and talk about the historical sites of the Newarke area of Leicester.
The walk was followed by a meal at Wygston’s House Restaurant which took a very long time to be served , tempered by the good food……..
the restaurant is in a lovely old building on the edge of Jubilee Square sited close to some of
the oldest remaining parts of the city.
