DUCK RACE RESULTS ....
Inside this builder’s bag are 1,000 plastic ducks. Each is numbered. On Sunday, September 7, during the Friends of Knighton Park’s annual show, at 2pm the bag was emptied into the brook at the start of the second annual Rotary charities duck race.

A small group of club members were invited by Rtn. Ranjit Mann to visit this new purpose built Gurdwara Sahib building opened in 2024. The visit proved to be an opportunity to see many of the children from Falcons Primary school.

19 intrepid De Montfort Rotarians visited the wilds of the Peak District staying for 3 nights at the MERMAID INN. Great fellowship, coupled with good food interspersed with some tough rambles around the area were had by all.....

.For a number of years District 1070 has supported Rotary’s Kids Out day – which is always in June with a visit to Wicksteed Park Kettering for a day of fun and frolics for around 2000 disabled/disadvantaged kids.

Saturday 22 October 10:00am Aigburth Care Home, Manor Road, Oadby. LE2 2LL. 1000 corms to be planted. Download our Planting Guide.. Volunteers need to bring a spade & gardening trowel. Secateurs and a penknife are useful additions.

The guided tour of the tunnel commenced at 11.30a.m. Followed by Lunch at the Forge, Glenfield.

The walk was organised by Theresa Phillips. 16 people attended and met at the Magazine Gateway at 6pm. The table at Wyggston’s House Restaurant was booked from 7:15 to 8:45 pm....but the serving of the pre-ordered food proved to be rather tardy....
