Woodland maintenance at Wyggeston Wood        

  • Various dates throught 2024 
  • Coppicing Hazel trees etc.

Litter Pick collections

  • Oct 2024  - 1 owl nest boxes re-installed at Wyggeston Wood                                   

Pond work at Wyggeston Wood               

  • October 2024 - . Short drainage pipe laid 07 October to aid flow of water into the pond. Further pipe laying will follow over the coming months.

  • Sommer 2024  - Aigburth Care Home - weeding and tidying residents garden

Fruit Tee Planting

  • 03 March 2024 - Planted native fruit trees in Knighton Green with Knighton Wild.  The project was funded by the award of a DEMG with the balance of expenditure contributed by Knighton Wild. Thanks to Adam’s Apples of Cullompton and Goscote Nurseries of Cossington for supplying heritage apples trees and a local plum tree respectively.
  • 23 & 28 March 2024 - More fruit tree planting.
