In the recent past Environmental Protection has been added to Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus. Rotary is committed to supporting activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment.
In support of that aim, the Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill has responded to the #BillionSeedChallenge by donating spring flowering bulbs to Kingsdown School.
Rotarians Terry Morris and Bill White joined an enthusiastic band of pupils in planting the bulbs in the school garden. The pupils will tend to the plot over the winter and will update the Rotary Club on the progress of the bulbs as they grow.
The club and the children live in hope that the plot will prove to be a colourful addition to the garden and will play its part in helping the environment by being a haven for insect life.more The Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill are pleased to announce that our 15th annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Friday 15th August 2025 at The Rayleigh Club, Hullbridge Road, Hullbridge, Essex SS6 9QS
