Janice had only just started her new job in New York when on the 11th September 2001 she was at work on the 84th floor of the World Trade Centre as the plane piloted by terrorists struck the building. Janice was one of the lucky ones who survived and lives to tell her tale. Since then, she has featured in several television documentaries on 9/11 and relates her story of how the appalling events of the day unfolded and the horrors that she witnessed first-hand. Quite naturally, this has had a profound effect on her life but she has shared her experience by working part time for the Since 9/11 charity telling her story to schoolchildren who weren’t even born when it happened. She likes to tell them that her mantra in life is that she hopes tomorrow will always be a better day.
