RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

We sponsored two candidates to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards course held at Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire from 3rd to 10th August last year. Bethany Bradford and Katie McGill visited us on Thursday 9th January to give presengtations to club members of their experience of the course. Both gave very professional presentations of their experiences of the course and explained that it helped them enormously in developing their confidence and ability to interact with others as part of a team. The physical activites and team projects were challenging and took them outside of their confidence zone but at the same time were fun and enjoyeable.

It was very satisfying to see the difference the course had made to both Bethany and Katie who now had so much more self assurance and confidence. We look forward to seeing how they go on to further develop in their careers.
