Race Night 2018 - Milton Keynes & Milton Keynes Grand Union

Our join race night with Milton Keynes Rotary Club was repeated in March 2018 at the Sumerlin Centre in Woburn Sands and raised £1,435

Around 80 punters came to try their luck on a series of 8 recorded races.
They were duly encouraged by our MC to bet irresponsibly in the name of charity, consternation ensued as horses fell at hurdles and others came from nowhere to snatch the lead.
An entertaining evening ended with over £1,000 raised for the supported charities - Wheelpower, which works to include the disabled in active sports and Shelterbox which gets emergency supplies to natural disaster zones.

Rotary Quiz Night - raised £1,200 for Wheelpower
more Our popular quiz night was held again at MK Snap on 27 October 2017 and raised £1,200 in aid of Wheelpower. After a tough eight rounds of questions, the "spare parts" from Aspley Guise emerged as the winners - for the third year on the trot !
Barn Dance
more Our barn dance in 2017 was a great success with around 90 people enjoying the music of Sleeping Moggy. We raised around £750 for the President's Charity.

2016 Quiz Night
more We had great fun at our annual quiz night. Our quizmaster taxed us with rounds relating to acronyms, currencies and words that sound alike amongst others. Overall we raised around £1,000 for charity.
