 Tess in her presidential year 2022/23 will be supporting a number of causes but specifically the Gambian School Trust.

"I am planning several fundraising events for each charity, as well as some more practical projects.  I’m hoping that we can raise enough to build a new classroom at one of the GST’s schools, although this is likely to cost £3,000 to £4,000 – so I will really need your help!  I am planning several fundraising events for each charity, as well as some more practical projects.  I’m hoping that we can raise enough to build a new classroom at one of the GST’s schools, although this is likely to cost £3,000 to £4,000 – so I will really need your help! 

I also intend to apply for Foundation grants of £400 for the GST to furnish and equip the new classroom, and £800 for Bradford Nightstop, to provide food, clothes, bedding and toiletries for the young people they support.  We will need to match these sums with our own fundraising, so we are setting the bar high!"
