2024/25 Whisky Tasting Evening

Santa and his helpers have been busy collecting for local charities. Happy Christmas Everyone.

We've recently helped with the refurbishment of Lawrence house which has been an amazing change and created a much better environment for the residents.

Another successful Whisky Tasting Evening was enjoyed by members and friends and raised an amazing £1,000 for charity. Many thanks to our whisky sommelier, Rotarian Ted Goold, for organising the evening, selecting eight first class whiskies to taste.

Dr Crispian Batstone gave us a very interesting talk about the fascinating history of the UK's Met Office

We had a fabulous evening, enjoyed by everyone and the bonus was, we raised £420 for the End Polio Now campaign!

A few of our members helped control the traffic at Barwell carnival.

Thank you to everyone who supported our collection at Morrison's at the weekend. We raised £250 to help finance the vehicle which will shortly be taking much needed supplies to Ukraine.
