Members of Hinckley Ambion Rotary Club were pleased to lend a helping hand recently at Lawrence House.
The club is in the second year of a three year project to refurbish the bedrooms at the house and took along their DIY tools and skills to help assemble the new furniture.
President Ann Jones said, “We enjoyed helping with the furniture and also being shown around the facilities.
We saw a room which is now occupied after being refurbished last year and it looks great. We all look forward to continuing to help with even more rooms next year. “
The project is funded by the club and supported by a matching grant from the Rotary Foundation.
