Cranleigh RDA – covers Godalming as well as the Cranleigh area and part of Guildford. It “offers therapeutic riding to people with disabilities to benefit their health and well-being, to achieve their goals and to have fun! The experience gained through riding and contact with our horses and our volunteers helps them develop self-esteem, confidence and independence.”.
Their premises were in urgent need of updating as the stable block was past its useful working life and in danger of collapse. The new facilities have secured their future with a new building fully fit for purpose.
Our support meets several of Woolsack’s goals as riders’ ages are from 8 to 62 and their disabilities are wide ranging. This was a truly worthwhile project that has brought tangible benefits to many people.

more The Godalming Woolsack club joins with other Rotary clubs every year to provide hundreds of disadvantaged young people with a great day out. In 2018, there were over 900 children in total and some great feedback from the event.
