In a very friendly atmposphere at the 6 Bells pub in Newdigate, the Woolsack team had a most impressive win over Redhil Redstone. The evening started well with three of the Woolsack team getting spares and the chance to score more than 9 and then in the final game, maestro David Hughes had a stunning 17 after a strike with his first ball. At the end we were up by 255 to 219 - is this a record?
Skipper Simon thanked their Captain Roger and his team from Redstone for a most sporting and enjoyable evening and lifted the District Skittles Trophy.
Well done Woolsack.
