Members of Woolsack responded to a call from Ryan Kelly PHF to lend a hand with loading of redundant school furniture recently. The school was the Heights Prep School in Haslemere which recently closed and Ryan had organised for all the furniture no longer wanted plus computers and associated equipment to be loaded into a full sized sea container. Because of the difficult logistics around the school, the loading had to be done in two stages with a truck used to take the furniture to Hindhead where the sea container was located.
The photos show some of the workng group in front of the school and the truck. We loaded the truck twice and between loadings amused ourselves with some rugby practice.
By the end of the day a full sea container was dispatched and will deliver much needed school equipment to a wide range of schools and West Africa.
Many thanks to Ryan for arranging this and to all those who assisted with the loading.
