Trek 24 Bedfordshire is back by popular demand.
East Anglian Air Ambulance are delighted to be returning to Barton Hill Farm, LU2 8NF on Saturday 27 April 2024.
Last year saw 200 supporters take on the challenge of walking either 24 miles or 24 km through the beautiful Chilterns and raising thousands of pounds for the charity. We are hoping to welcome even more supporters this year and are looking for volunteers to help us make our trekkers day the best it can be. You’ll be the friendly face that our trekkers see at the start, finish or at a rest stop. You’ll be handing out refreshments, offering words of encouragement, giving directions, and cheering our trekkers on the finish. You could also be handing out that all important medal at the finish and enjoying that sense of achievement. There is a role for everybody!
We are looking to fit volunteers into the following shifts:
Morning shift 0600 – 1000 – Registration station.
Day shift 1000- 1800 – Marshalling and refreshment stops.
Afternoon shift – 1300 - 2000 - Marshalling and finish line.
We want you to have the best volunteer experience at Trek 24 and ensure you get the most out of it. We will:
If you would like any further information or can commit to supporting the event, Debbie Howland would love to hear from you.
Debbie can be contacted at debbie.howland@eaaa.org.uk or on her mobile 07703 684 599
