A talk by Jonathan Walton. Open to guests, all welcome to come along and find out more.


Jonathan is a long term Shropshire resident. His Antarctic
experience includes 13 summer seasons and 2 winters spread
over 44 years – not forgetting his father before him and his son
after him. He is the holder of the Polar Medal. This presentation
includes an overview of the continent of Antarctica plus
personal tales of life in a hostile climate with periods of up to 9
months sharing a one room hut with only 3 others.
