Our annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza!


Where - Ripon Racecourse

When - Friday 7th November 2025
             Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 7pm, Fireworks at 7:30 pm

Tickets In Advance - Adult £5, Child(u16) £2, Family Ticket (2 adults, 2 children) £12
                 On the night - Adult £6, Child (U16) £3, No Family Tickets On The Night

             To Help You Enjoy The Night And Keep Everyone Safe Please Observe The Following - 

 - Arrive as soon as you can and follow the marshals' car parking directions. If walking, stick to the marked routes. 

- Do not bring your own fireworks (except sparklers) or alcohol. Used sparklers to be disposed of in the buckets provided.

- At the entrance there will be marked channels for cash payment, card payment and ticket holders. Please get into the right queue and try to have the right change ready.

- Please do not buy from pedlars outside the ground. Reputable tradespeople will be selling refreshments, glowsticks, etc once you have passed the ticket entrance.

- Please follow the marshals' instructions - they are there to help you and keep everyone safe to enjoy this busy event.

 

'What We Do' Main Pages:

Every year, the Community Bonfire is held near to 5th November at Ripon Racecourse. It is always a hugely successful event drawing several thousand excited Riponians. At the same time the profits are used to support selected charities within Ripon.

On Shrove Tuesday each year The Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels help organise the Great Ripon Pancake Race. The event is a lot of fun for children and grown ups alike!

In 2012 the Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels agreed in conjunction with NYCC to maintain the signage on the walk and revise the original booklet written by Les Taylor. This was undertaken in 2014, with further updates in 2019 and 2024

The Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels support local candidates to participate in this scheme every year. Enabling them to develop confidence and leadership skills through hands on experience. Combining learning new skills with having a lot of fun!
