The Southport Foodbank, organised by Compassion Acts have embarked on a project of providing designated Christmas hampers for the needy and underprivileged in Southport and surrounding areas. To make this possible financial help was required to help with the cost of printing and packaging for this project. The Rotary Club of Southport Links, already a supporter of the Foodbank, provided £250 towards the costs for this. A photo is shown depicting the packaging of the hampers. It is intended that these boxes will be reused during the Christmas period.
