Our annual technology tournament for schools and colleges. A superb turnout this year with 12 teams (plus teh teachers team) taking part - this years challenge? To make a remote controlled, drain clearing vehicle from strut sof wod, cardboard, elastic bandsm a few wheels, wire , batteries and an electric motor. In the senior group, the vehicle had to collect the debris and bring it back to the start line. All of this had to be done in just 4 hours!
The teams worked very hard and we were delighted to award the winners shields to
Basic level - Team BILT from Greenbank School
Intermediate Level - Those Guys from Birkdale High

The Mayor of Sefton. Iain Brodie-Browne made a visit and was very impressed by the students work.
