Here is a link to the wildlife video
The Rotary Marquee was busy all day. QV Interactors came down to help at the event, it was good to see them out in their Interactor tee shirts on the Rotary Stall which themed encouraging wildlife in the home garden.
A graphic presentation showed the many activities that can encourage wildlife in the home garden and our team were there to give advice and encouragement. The beehive adjacent to the marquee was very peaceful at 8.00 as we erected the canopy, things were very different by 4.00pm when we were clearing away when the hive was very active, maybe more to do with the lovely sunny day but they were obviously very happy in the manse garden.
All visitors to our stand were given the option of free wildflower seeds or a choice of edible greens seeds and many enjoyed watching our videos from gardens in Dunblane of Hedgehogs and Mice in night vision and Blue tit nest camera from making the nest to feeding the chicks.
The afternoon was sensational with the sunshine and the Allan Jazz Band who played in the Rotary Gazebo to everyones' delight.
It was great to meet so many people from the town and pass on our Wildlife Garden Knowledge.
Well done to Peter and Paddy Holmes for leading this project.
