2022 Shoebox Appeal

The Rotary Club of Bridge of Allan and Dunblane Annual Shoebox Appeal has now been completed.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters - Bridge of Allan Primary, Dunblane Primary, Fairview International, Newton Primary, Queen Victoria, St Mary’s Episcopal Church and Primary, 11th Bridge of Allan Scouts and Rotary Club members, we have now collected and dispatched 471 Shoeboxes. This is one of the highest totals since we started the collections over 20 years ago.

All the Shoeboxes collected are delivered to the Rotary Shoebox Charity warehouse in Oldham where they will join thousands of others for onward transportation to Eastern Europe. Approximately 12-15,000 Shoeboxes should arrive in time for Christmas and will be distributed by local Rotary Clubs and other partners. For many of the recipients, living in very difficult conditions, this may be the only present they will receive.
