Curling - Charlie Proctor Broom Wednesday Now Tues 23 April @ Peak @ 18.30
After rescheduling due to ice unavailability in March the Club Curlers met at the National Curling Academy on Tuesday evening to play for the Charlie Proctor Broom - an annual match within the Club competing for the Charlie Proctor Broom - Left to the Club more than 30 years ago. The game was pretty tight but Alasdair Mackie with Alan Lee, Stuart Brown and Rod Jones narrowly won the final end to take the Broom from Skip Graham Russell with Nick Rawlings, Laura Lee (thanks Laura for turning out to make the teams) and Colin Strachan. Graham's team took the narrow defeat like true Rotarians as you will see from the photo. The cameraman had severaal attempts to catch the action but couldn't find it!
