Primary School Quiz - Bridge of Allan Church Hall
A great Primary School Quiz was held at the Church Hall BoA this afternoon, this year there were six teams from local primary schools competing. Teams of 4 with a substitute were fielded from Bridge of Allan, Beaconhurst, Dunblane, Newton, St Mary's and QV.
Organiser Lawrie Orr welcomed all the teams, their supporters and mums and dads and handed over to question master Ranald Shepherd who quizzed the teams through 10 rounds of questions from sport to maths and geography to pictures with a break for refreshments at half time.
Scores were declared after every round and all teams had a strong start, but as the rounds were played Newton pulled into the lead which they held on to till the end with runners up Bridge of Allan.
Rotary president Nick Rawlings awarded prizes and scertificates to all teams then thanked all the participants and supporters for making the quiz a good fun event.
