Rotary District 1010 has for a number of years run a quiz for Primary 7 age pupils, which starts with local heats and culminates in a district final. These events offer great enjoyment, excitement to pupils, parents and teachers. The competition aims to offer senior primary pupils the experience of competing as part of a team and an opportunity to meet pupils from other schools. The victors from Newton Primary School comprising Eleanor Duncan, Lauren McDougall, Thomas Gourley, Calum Smith and Alexander Taggert now go to compete in the Area Final in the Albert Halls in Stirling on Saturday 18 April.
