15 June 2014 Charter Night Ceremony for Rotakids at Queen Victoria School

The Queen Victoria School Rotakids Club was presented with their official Charter by District Governor, Jim Houston.


A new Rotakids Club was officially chartered on Sunday 15 June at Queen Victoria School. Over 30  of the school's under 12 year olds committed to upholding the principles and to participate in active citizenship to improve the quality of life for their school and local and global communities. Rotary District Governor Jim Houston paid tribute to the club who have already started work on their first major project to raise awareness of pancreatic Cancer and have had their hashtag #QVSPurpleP tweeted and retweeted across the world. Their motto is: small people: big difference and they certainly look like they will live up to this.
