The 2014 Primary School Quiz was held on Friday 7 February at Chalmers Church Hall in Bridge of Allan.
On Friday 6 March, teams from St Mary's Episcopal, Newton, Dunblane, Queen Victoria and Bridge of Allan Primary schools met at Chalmers Hall in Bridge of Allan for the annual Primary School Quiz.
After 10 rounds of questions, and in a very close contest, Newton emerged as victors, narrowly beating last year's winners, Bridge of Allan, by 2 points.
Organiser Lawrie Orr from the Vocational Committee thanked question setter Alan Lee and Quizmaster Rod Jones as well as the teachers, parents and supporters who had come along to cheer on their teams. Newton will go forward to the next round to be held in Stirling next month.
