30 August 2012 Fellowship Evening - Whist Drive.

This Thursday's meeting of the and Dunblane Rotary Club, at the Westlands Hotel, Dunblane, was different in a number of ways. Both the President and President Elect were absent so the meeting was conducted by the next in line, President Nominee, Peter Farr.

Following an excellent buffet supper provided by the hotel, the members were paired off to enjoy an evening of 'Whist with a Twist'. After each round, the losing pair at each table moved on to the adjoining table where subsequent rounds had different sets of rules attached. 

At the end of the evening John Kilby and Eric Abell emerged as the comfortable winners of the competition, having been less confused by the rules than the other teams!

All those attending voted the evening a great success, as it enabled the members to challenge each other in a suitably competitive but friendly manner.
