No meeting at our usual venue. We are having a Fellowship Evening at La Cucina in Bridge of Allan instead.
The Rotary Club of Bridgeof Allan and Dunblane took in a change of venue for a fellowship evening last Thursday. 24 members and a welcome visitor, Audrey Cooper, visited La Cucina, on Henderson Streetin the southern outpost of their region to sample the delights of Italian cuisine. The restaurant did the group proud, with the kitchen staff performing miracles to turn out such a large array of different meals at the same time. Just as everyone was settling into their cappuccinos, President Rod Jones broke out his most tricky quiz sheet. 30 questions on Italyhad all the teams scratching their heads, but provided a perfect round off to a most pleasant evening. The winning team of John Anderson (cut off by the photographer!), Allan Macpherson, Graham Russell and Russell Wheater were appropriately rewarded with a 'Smarties' Easter Egg each.
