ROTARY BOXING CLEVER FOR CHRISTMAS
There was a huge response to our call to action resulting in more than 80 donated food boxes and bags. After loading up cars and vans, volunteers left to deliver the goods and we have already received a heartfelt thanks from one of our foodbanks.
This initiative was first suggested by Rotarian Pat Pickersgill 3 years ago and President David Hogg commented, 'the Advent Box scheme has been hugely successful from the start and, as ever, we would like to thank our supportive community who never let us down when we need their help. Thank you from all at Rotary Newton Aycliffe'.
