You are a responsible person in a responsible job and have a busy life. You would also like to give something back to your community but do not have the time. Perhaps Rotary Newton Aycliffe can help.

For years Rotary has supported communities, charities, and individuals with significant challenges of all types. It has gained a huge reputation for linking professional men and women who meet every week to discuss key community issues and consider ways to raise money to help those in most need. This system has prevailed since inception in February 1905 and changed very little, although it now has 1.2 million members worldwide.

Modern life has changed in all aspects, mainly through the advent and strengths of social media and Rotary recognises that change. A new type of club is being formed in the Newton Aycliffe area to run alongside the long established, Rotary Newton Aycliffe.

 It is an E-Club. This is a club for those that want to help with and support local and international issues but in a less formal way. The E-Club will meet via Zoom meetings, setting their own agendas and projects. It is not planned to have formal weekly meetings and arrangements will all be online.
