WOW. £2,250 donation from Rotary to Macmillan Cancer Support
David Swinton, Regional Volunteer Forum Chairman for Macmillan Cancer Support, visited Rotary Newton Aycliffe last night to accept a donation of £2,250. This amazing sum was 40% of the total raised at our Rotary annual golf day held last September at, and with the support of Woodham Golf and Country Club. The remaining 60% will go to Cancer Research UK for Cervical Cancer and other Rotary charities. Pictured is David Swinton receiving the cheque from President Jean Thompson and holding those incredible numbers aloft are the organisers of the Golf Day, Rotarians David Hogg, Alan Nelson and Honorary Member Robert Manners. Well done everyone!!
