Stallholders - general and food vendors are invited to take part in the 2026 Almost The Donkey Derby

GENERAL STALLS

We would like to invite you to be part of our 2026 Almost The Donkey Derby.  We are looking for a wide range of stalls covering charities, sports clubs, youth groups, businesses and community groups.

Trade Stalls
Single pitches of 4m x 4m are available at a cost of £.  Multiple pitches can be booked.

Charity & Community Stalls
Single pitches of 4m x 4m are available at a discounted rate of £.

This will be the 35th Donkey Derby and we expect to attract over 2500 visitors. The attractions will include Donkey Rides, Arena Events, the Traylens Funfair and a range of Food Catering Stalls.

FOOD VENDOR STALLS - UPDATE

Bookings for Food stalls for the 2026 event will open soon

 

We are seeking applications for food stalls from large and small businesses both locally and further afield to help make a great atmosphere at the Burnham Donkey Derby.

We are looking for of a wide range of food vendors but want to limit  the number to a maximum of 10. We want to ensure that there is a wide variety of food at prices that appeal to the many families visiting the Donkey Derby. To achieve this food vendors should be able to offer lower priced snacks in addition to normal priced meals. 

The cost to occupy a food pitch is negotiable and suppliers should expect to pay between £75 and £500 per unit dependent upon its size and food offering. Operating hours are 12 noon to 5.00 pm.

ALMOST THE DONKEY DERBY 2022

more After two years of restrictions we held a Donkey Derby with a difference on Saturday 28th May 2022. There was great arena entertainment, lots of stalls, food offerings, funfair, plus of course - DONKEY RIDES.

- At the Burnham Village Fete 2021

more Almost the Donkey Derby activities took place at the Burnham Village Fete on event on July 10th 2021

The event is normally held on the weekend of the Spring Bank Holiday. In 2022 we will be holding Almost The Donkey Derby on May 28th

back The 35th Donkey Derby on Burnham Park will be held on Saturday May 23rd 2026 the weekend of the May Bank Holiday. A great family day out!
