OK Our Kids

RCBB helped to establish OK - Our Kids a new charity based in High Wycombe

Burnham Beeches Rotary helped OK - Our Kids to link with other Clubs across Rotary District 1090

Earlier in 2018 Tony Churchill & Claire Annison from OK - Our Kids visited us and explained their objectives in creating this new charity.

The charity's mission is to help young children deal confidently with the challenges and dangers of staying safe at home, school and in the community.

Our members agreed to help by providing expertise towards helping to establish the Charity and with the drafting of the OK Our Kids publication which will be circulated to local junior schools. Rtn Ian Griffith will be leading this project assisted by members from the Youth Committee.

The project has since expanded and has been adopted by Rotary District 1090 as one of their key charities. Several Rotary clubs have already made donations and Burnham Beeches is helping OK to apply to several organisations for grants. both the Louis Baylis Trust and Burnham Prish Council have already made donations.
