The Burnham Donkey Derby was held every year from 1990 up to 2019 but was cancelled due to COVID-19 in 2020.

The Burnham Donkey Derby has been organised by Burnham Beeches Rotary for almost 30 years and during that time over £350,000 has been raised and donated to local charities and needy causes.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel the last two years due to the covid-19 crisis and this has resulted in a massive shortfall in the funds raised. If you would like to help with a donation, no matter how small, please follow this link:

ALMOST THE DONKEY DERBY 2022
more After two years of restrictions we held a Donkey Derby with a difference on Saturday 28th May 2022. There was great arena entertainment, lots of stalls, food offerings, funfair, plus of course - DONKEY RIDES.

ALMOST THE DONKEY DERBY 2025
back The 34th Donkey Derby on Burnham Park will be held on Saturday May 24th 2025 the weekend of the May Bank Holiday. A great family day out!
