Dictionaries for Life

Presentations to pupils at Farnham Common Junior Schools and St Mary's School Farnham Royal

For the seventh year running, the Burnham Beeches Rotary has supported the national literacy programme with their Dictionary For Life project. Education is a priority for Rotary and the project enables year four pupils in local schools to be given dictionaries which they can keep for life.

This year the Club has donated over 400 dictionaries to junior schools throughout the Farnhams, Burnam and Slough at the leaving ceremonies at each of the schools at the end of July.
