Our Community Activities

We work in and around the Community in many ways - to help others with their projects and fund raising - some are featured here. We were recently presented with an Award from the Beeches Community Board in recognition of our work in the community.

We meet regularly to raise money, assist the community and make charitable donations.We work with many local organisations including schools, youth groups, charities and Burnham and Farnham Royal Parish Councils.

Burnham Care & Share - food distribution. We are in partnership with Burnham Health Promotion Trust
Defibrillators - installation in conjunction with Burnham Parish Council
Annual inter- school football tournament at Dropmore Infant School

Food Distribution Projects

more We work with several food distribution projects throughout the year to help those in need of support. Our main contribution is to provide food parcels at Christmas for children and families through local schools.

Dictionaries for Life presentations

more Over 400 dictionaries were presented to pupils at 7 local schools in June and July.

Burnham Beeches Rotary are the sponsors of a community orchard in Farnham Common.

more Burnham Beeches Rotary sponsored village organisations to plant trees in the Community Orchard in Temple Dell (A355 Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common). a planting ceremony took place in February 2012 and an Open Day in September.

Dropmore Football Festival

more Each April we organise a Football Festival for local schools at Dropmore Infant School. Pupils from 6/8 schools take part.
