Community projects

In our community, we proudly organise and support a wide range of activities and initiatives that help make Westhill a welcoming, vibrant, and caring place to live.

• Regular litter picks to keep our town clean, tidy, and environmentally friendly.

• Maintenance of the welcome stone at the entrance to Westhill, now a well-known and much-loved local landmark that creates a positive first impression for residents and visitors alike.

• The annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party, bringing festive cheer, companionship, and entertainment to older members of our community.

• The annual Westhill “Lazy Sunday Afternoon” at Ashdale Hall field, offering families the opportunity to relax, enjoy live entertainment, play games, and spend quality time together.

• Regular bric-a-brac sales to raise vital funds that directly support our local projects and community initiatives.

In addition to these activities, we are also involved in:

• Promoting community spirit by encouraging volunteering and neighbourly support.

• Contributing to environmental improvement projects, including planting and green space upkeep.

• Partnering with other local groups to develop new ideas and initiatives that benefit residents of all ages.

Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen community connections, enhance our local environment, and ensure Westhill remains a place we can all be proud to call home.
