Students at Longfield Spencer Academy in Melton have presented their ideas for a number of Peace inspired projects that could be implemented at the school. This is in conjunction with Melton Belvoir Rotary’s support for a Peace and Conflict Resolution initiative, one of Rotary International’s key areas of focus.
The ideas were presented to the headmaster Mr. Haggett, who offered each team funds to develop their initial suggestions into specific proposals. The teams have been meeting regularly under the guidance of teacher Michelle Young who introduced the teams and congratulated them on their excellent work.
