The Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray Belvoir are pleased to announce that the Presidents Charity for the year 2024/25 has been nominated as Leicestershire and Rutland Blood Bikes. Immediate Past President Martin Porter is seen presenting a cheque for £1,220 to Bike Volunteer David Hull together with John, manager of Hill Top Farm. The money was raised throughout Martin’s Presidential year mainly from a garden party and a kind donation from Hill Top Farm of £250.
Blood Bikes are a totally volunteer based charity supporting local health organisations, as well as our local Air Ambulance, providing movement of blood samples, human milk and other medical supplies.
