District Governor Dawn Denton

Dawn has worked in the logistics sector for nearly 40 years, she spent 27 years of these in Royal Mail, where she held senior roles in operations and human resource management. Since leaving Royal Mail Dawn has worked in other supply chain operations as a Human Resources Business Partner.

Dawn became a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Towcester in 2014, and has, in addition to holding various committee roles been president twice. She has undertaken various roles in District 1070, she became Assistant Governor in October 2021 until June 2025, a role which she thoroughly enjoyed, especially having contact with local clubs near to where she lives. She has been selected to become District Governor 2026/27.

Dawn enjoys the local, national and international scope of Rotary and has attended Rotary International Conventions and Action Summits across the world. Dawn believes that recruiting new members is imperative and the personal development opportunities offered should be highlighted to all new members.

Dawn has two children and three grandchildren and for relaxation enjoys, foreign holidays, cruising, walking and visiting National Trust properties.
