Ladies of the Special Operations Executive

Mon, Jul 13th 2026 at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

James Miller gives a talk about the ladies of the S.O.E. during WW2

The Special Operations Executive (SOE) was a British organisation formed in 1940 to conduct espionagesabotage and reconnaissance in German-occupied Europe and to aid local resistance movements during World War II.

James Miller studied a History degree at the Open University and specialised and researched into the work of the SOE with particular interest in contributions made by the support staff and the female agents of the French section.
