On Thursday, 14th December we made a very special delivery of personalised hampers for the children and young people of their Saturday Club with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as their families.
Debbie Ramsay, Crossroads Care trustee, said: ‘We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and donations from the Rotary Club of Kew Gardens. The kindness and hard work that they put into creating these festive hampers benefits some of our most vulnerable children and young people at Christmastime, which is a real financial struggle for many families.”
Sue Sheffer, from the Rotary Club of Kew Gardens, said: ‘It’s our pleasure to provide something special for the children of the Saturday Club and their families again this year.'
So many parents gave great feedback also!
“It is so lovely and kind of you to give us this hamper it was completely unexpected”
“What a lovely treat! It’s items like these that sometimes we cant afford to get”
“Thank you so much for such an amazing hamper the kids will love all the yummy treats”
“Wow! W, was so grateful for the little vegan additions that he got!, and thank you so much for all the yummy Christmas treats”
