Jitoko Tikolevu was appointed to the London Mission in January 2016.
Before accreditation to the Court of St James, as Fiji's 10th High Commissioner in London, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA).
Mr Tikolevu previously served as Chairman of the Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO) and as Chairman of the Pacific Islands Tax Administration Association.
He has continued the work of his predecessors in further enhancing Fiji’s political profile and economic prospects in the UK, as well as focusing on increasing trade and investment opportunities and reaching out to potential business and development partners: in March 2019, the UK signed a post-Brexit trade deal with Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
