Another successful Quiz!

The 19th. Kew Rotary Quiz, ably organised by Suzanne Sheffer was held at St. Lukes Community Centre Kew on 9th. March. Once again the Strawbs won the Basil Pride Cup, and a bottle of bubbly each.

The 3 chosen charities this year were Spear, Richmond Carers Centre and Princess Alice Hospice. The total amount raised this year, including donations, was £3000.00 and each charity will be receiving a cheque for £750.00. We shall retain the balance to help to fund our work in the local community. Our grand total raised over the 19 years is now £46,186.00.

History of the Club.

The Club was Chartered on 12th October 1984 and Richard tells us about some of the mile stones in the Club's history.

Each year we distribute Christmas Food Bags and food vouchers to Crossroad Care Richmond & Kingston.
