This long standing project was initiated by one of our former members , the late Mr Satish Bhargava. At our weekly meetings we pass around a bottle for the donation of loose change and this is topped up from other club funds . In addition to this Satish's widow Sandra adds a generous contribution . The latest eye camps were in Sirohi in Northern Rajasthan .Over the two days over 300 patients were seen , 13 of these were suitable for cataract operations , many others were fitted with spectacles .
more On 20th November 2024 Sandra was recognised by the club as a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her long term support for the India Eye Camp project.
